Don’t wait until you have a chronic problem to deal with.
I see a large number of clients whose dogs have been suffering with gut problems for many years.
They’ve tried all sorts of diets, supplements, been back and forth to the vets, spent a fortune having tests done. Become stressed. frustrated, upset and eventually feel hopeless.

It becomes much harder to fix a problem when it’s been allowed to manifest for a long time. This is because you end up with all sorts of other factors such as the added stress, which has a hugely damaging effect on the gut and years of medication such as antibiotics, which studies show can destroy gut bacteria for up to 2 years! These ‘layers’, over time all create a much more problematic issue.
The gut bacteria is a delicate balance and when this balance is disrupted it affects your dog’s immune system, their hormone balance, their behaviour as well as their overall health.

Prolonged gut problems can lead to a vicious cycle of more vet visits, as yet more health problems arise, meaning more pharmaceuticals to suppress symptoms, which in turn leads to more gut damage.

All the while symptoms are being treated but gut health is not being addressed the problem will be getting progressively worse.
This is usually the point where pet owners contact me!

If your pet is experiencing one or more of these symptoms on a regular basis, take it as your sign to investigate further…
Loose stools
Sickness/diarrhoea
Gurgly tummy
Lack of appetite
Increased gas/flatulence
Excessive drooling (a sign of nausea)
Fussiness or changes in appetite
Changes in behaviour
Discomfort in the tummy region (often displayed as stretching)
Struggling to maintain the correct weight
Anal gland issues
Often your dog may start off with one or more of these symptoms, which overtime may develop into more on the list and then other issues such as ear, skin and allergies can often occur. These accompanying symptoms are a result of the build up of ‘layers’ over the years and will tend to be treated as separate symptoms, when in fact they all originate in the gut.
Repairing the gut is vital to achieve overall health in your pet.
